Darlene Pearl Williams, 82, who resided in Edmond, Okla died Wednesday, June. 5, 2019 at Midwest City, Okla. Mrs. Williams was born April 21, 1937 in Clay Center, KS, the daughter of Marion and Violet (Roberts) Weller. She enjoyed fishing and camping with family and friends, travel, and spent a large part of her life caring for others.
Darlene was raised in Clay Center. She married Harris Williams on May 18, 1957. Darlene worked as a waitress, a daycare provider, and for Gilmore-Tatge. She then worked for the Kwik Corner/Short Stop until retiring. She was a member of the Clay Center Christian Church. Darlene was preceded by her husband, parents, and four brothers.
Survivors include one son, Harvey Williams and wife Michaela of Edmond, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Alicia Vanderschaaf and husband Matthew and their daughter Lillian Violet of Edmond, Oklahoma; and one grandson, Nathan Williams and his wife Katherine of Oklahoma City.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jun 14 at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home, Clay Center, with Pastor Tim Gotchey officiating.
Burial will be in Fancy Creek Cemetery, Clay County.
Visitation will be held on Thursday Jun 13th from 3 to 8 p.m. at Neill-Schwensen-Rook
