Darrel Wisecarver

DARREL E WISECARVER, 81 died March 13, 2014 at Geary Community Hospital in Jinction City, KS. He was born on December 24, 1932 in Winchester, VA. Darrel was raised in Winchester, VA. He Joined the US Army, serving in the Korean War and Viet Nam War, retiring in 1973. He managed a Denny's restaurant in Junction City for 14 years. In 1983, he moved to Wakefield where he operated Suzy Q and Wakefield Boutique. He married Ginette (Bruneteau) Cullum, she survives of the home. Darrel was a member of the Wakefield American Legion and V.F.W. He is preceded in death by  Survivors: Wife: Ginette Wisecarver, Wakefield, KS Daughter: Donna Wisecarver, Ft. Lauderdale, FL Daughter: Denise, Miss. Son: David Wisecarver  Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the Wakefield Funeral Home in Wakefield, KS  Officiating the service will be Rev. Todd Britt  Burial will be in the Kansas Veteran's Cemetery at Fort Riley Visitation will be held on from 9:30AM until service time at the Wakefield Funeral Home  Memorials: CCCIF to benefit the Clay County Animal Rescue and Education Center c/o the funeral home
