Daryl Stuenkel

DARYL E. STUENKEL died November 18, 2010 in Manhattan, KS at the age of 55. He was born on October 2, 1955 in Clay Center Kansas, the son of Clarence and Erna (Hesterberg) Stuenkel. Daryl was raised in the Linn and Palmer communities, attending St. John's Luthern School, Palmer Elementary School and graduated from Linn High School in 1974. He farmed in the Linn and Palmer communities with his father and uncles his entire life. Daryl married Deborah Luebbe on April 16, 1989 and she preceded him in death on April 6, 2002. He later married Lucinda Hardesty on December 30, 2003, she survives of the home. Daryl was a member of St. John's Luthern Church and Linn FFA Chapter. He is also preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: Wife: Lucinda Stuenkel, Palmer, KS Daughter: Laura Stuenkel, Hays, KS Daughter: Carole Stuenkel, Palmer, KS Son: David Stuenkel, Palmer, KS Step-Son: Jaron and wife Michelle Schoenberger, Linn, KS Sister: Barbara Stuenkel, Valley Falls, KS Grandchildren: 1 Step-grandson Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Palmer, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Gene Holtorf. Burial will be at the St. John Cemetery, Palmer, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 4-8 PM Monday at St Johns Luthern Church, Palmer Memorials can be made to St. John's Luthern Church, Linn Luthern School or Flint Hills Christian School in Green c/o the funeral home
