David L. Blomberg died November 4, 2007 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS at the age of 90. David was born on March 9, 1917 in Clay County, Kansas the son of Wesley Blomberg and Mabel Nelson.
David married Lela Sanders on April 6, 1940 and she preceded him in death on January 14, 1985. He married Violet Beals-Hughes on February 11, 1995 and she survives. David worked at Fort Riley Irwin Army Hospital. He farmed in Clifton, Riley and the Ladysmith Community. He moved to Clay Center in 1964 and worked for the Marshall's Elevator. He was preceded in death by a son, Melvin Blomberg and two brothers.

Wife: Violet Blomberg, Wakefield, KS
Sister: Myrtle Baxter, Clay Center, KS
2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 1:30pm at the Wesleyan Church in Clay Center, Kansas .
Officiating the service will be Pastor Mike Paschall.
Burial will be at the Swedish Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Clay County, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on 3-8 pm Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the funeral home.
