Delores Kahrs

Delores Cinderella Kahrs, 89, died Monday, September 14, 2026. She was born on October 5, 1936 to Frank and Vivian McCollum of Clifton, Kansas. Delores married Richard H. Kahrs on August 24, 1954. They made their home in the Morganville community where they farmed and ran a dairy while raising their family. Starting in the 1970’s, Delores worked for various businesses, including Gibson’s, until her retirement. Richard preceded her in death on October 14, 2000.

Together Delores and Richard had seven children, Rickey Kahrs, Morganville, Janice Straub, deceased, Ronnie Kahrs, deceased, Susan Schmitt, Emporia, Donice James, Litchfield, NE, Karen Rodvelt, Bendena, and Pamela Geer, Grainfield. They provided Delores and Richard with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren over the years.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, September 19, 2026 at the Swedesburg First Lutheran Church Cemetery northeast of Morganville.
