Dennis Halepeska

DENNIS L. HALEPESKA died January 8, 2009 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS at the age of 71. He was born on July 2, 1937 in Miltonvale, the son of James and Genevieve (Shepard) Halespeska. Dennis grew up in Cloud and Clay Counties, attending Clay County Schools. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked in the Oklahoma oil fields and then worked for Hutchinson-Mayrath for 15 years until his retirement. Dennis married Ardes Baker on September 20, 2008 and she survives. He was preceded in death by one son, Timothy, one brother, and his mother, father,and step-father, Wilbur Printz. Survivors include: Wife: Ardes Halepeska, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Judy and husband John Chase, Agawam, MA Son: Philip Halepeska, Gaffney, SC Sister: Glenda Printz, OK Grandchildren: 4 Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Christian Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Doug Wallace. Burial will be at the Miltonvale Cemetery, Miltonvale, Kansas. Visitation will be held on will be held from 3-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. The family will greet friends from 6-7 PM Memorials can be made to Lighthouse for Christ c/o the funeral home
