Dennis Hesley

DENNIS W. HESLEY died September 5, 2013 at his residence, Clay Center, KS at the age of 64. Dennis was born on September 30, 1948 in Ottumwa, Iowa the son of Gerald and Theo (Campbell) Hesley. Dennis grew up in Mason City, IA and graduated High School in 1967. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps until 1971 and then joined the U.S. Army, serving 9 years, including 2 tours of duty in Vietnam. He married Donna Bowers and they later divorced. He then married Debbie Keggen and they also divorced. Dennis worked several jobs after his service in the military. He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Denise Hesley. Survivors include: Father: Gerald Hesley, Mason City, IA Son: Marcus Hesley, Houston, TX Son: Jan Michael Hesley, Layton, UT Brother: Michael Hesley, Issaquah, WA Brother: Kelly Hesley, Mason City, IA Sister: LaNaya Angel, Mason City, IA Sister: Michelle Couch, CA Sister: Shirlee McAndrew, CA Brother: Bill Hesley, Mason City, IA Brother: Tom Hesley, Mason City, IA Brother: Joey Hesley, Mason City, IA Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Clay Center American Legion in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Rob Stewart. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Dennis Hesley Memorial Fund to be designated later and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
