Dennis M Pedersen

Dennis Pedersen, 71 died October 2, 2021 in Clay Center, KS.  He was born on November 13, 1949 in Clifton, the son of Martin and Martha (Trybom) Pedersen.  Dennis was raised in the Clifton community and was a graduate of Clifton High School Class of 1967.  He served as a US Army Ranger in Viet Nam.  Dennis married Mary Laughlin on August 10, 1970.  He worked for Gilmore-Tatge manufacturing in Clay Center for 51 years, and currently held the position of President of the company.  Mary preceded him in death on June 22, 2012.  In his free time, Dennis was an avid reader.  He was a member of the BPOE and the American Legion Post 101 where he was Past-Post Commander.  Dennis was also preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Lyle Walters; and sister, Sherry Montgomery.

Companion: Carla Cummings of Manhattan, KS

Funeral Services: private services for the family will be held at a later date

Visitation: Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 4-7 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home
