Dianna Dawn Fleming

Dianna Dawn Fleming, 77, of Clay Center, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2026, at Salina Regional Health Center in Salina, Kansas.

Dianna Dawn (Hess) Fleming was born on March 22, 1949, to Cyril and Avis Hess.

Dianna graduated from Clay Center Community High School in 1967. On March 22, 1968, she married Terry Fleming, and they made their home in Clay Center. In her younger years, she worked at several local cafés, including the Jiffy Inn, and later worked at Key’s Egg Plant. She became a mother with the birth of Jeffery in 1971 and welcomed Aaron in 1977. Over the years, she cared for her grandchildren, whom she loved and adored. Dianna also loved to bake and was known for making cookies and other treats for people around town. She was an avid reader of romance novels and a devoted Chicago Cubs fan—she loved her Cubbies!

Dianna was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Avis Hess, and her sisters, Terrie Newville and Kay South. She is survived by her husband, Terry Fleming of Clay Center, Kansas; her sons, Jeff (Kelly) Fleming of Green, KS, and Aaron (Racquel) Fleming of Clay Center, KS; her grandchildren, Kolby Fleming of Marysville, KS, Jordan Fleming of Manhattan, KS, Austin Fleming of Clay Center, KS, Taylor Fleming of Lenexa, KS, Hannah Fleming of Phoenix, AZ, MaKayla Greybeal of Herington, KS, Kierston Boze of West Plains, MO, and JJ Boze of Clay Center, KS; her great-granddaughter, Paisynn Fleming of San Dimas, CA, Larami Greybeal of Herrington, KS, and great-grandson Bocephus Greybeal of Herington, KS, her sisters, Cheryl Wilson of Clifton, KS, Deb (Steven) Lehman of Clay Center, KS, and Trudy Hess of Manhattan, KS; and her brother, Daton (Liana) Hess of Clay Center, KS.

No services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions can be made to the Dianna Fleming Memorial Fund and left in care of Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home.
