DON L. SINGULAR died September 7, 2011 at Linn Community Nursing Home, Linn,
KS at the age of 80. Don was born on April 20, 1931 in Linn Kansas, the son of Charles and
Gertrude (Laird) Singular.
Don attended Linn schools graduating from Linn High School in 1949. He served in the
U.S. Air Force doing his training at Lackland AFB and then spending three years in Frankfort,
Germany. He married Anita Chizek on December 14, 1952 and she survives. Don owned and
operated Singular Funeral Home and Furniture Store in Linn before retiring in the late 1980s.
He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Linn, the Clyde VFW, the Winnebago Prairie Winnie Camping Club, the FCRV
Washington County Pony Expressers Camping Club and a lifetime member of the Linn American
Legion #237. He was preceded in death by his
parents, grandson, Barrett Singular, and his brother, J.F. Pauley.

Son: Kent and his wife, Jeanette Singular, Linn, KS
Son: Lee and his wife, Deedee Singular, Linn, KS
Daughter: Jill and her husband, Larry Wolken, Beatrice, NE
7 Grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul
Lutheran Church in Linn, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be Pastor Tom Sahl.
Burial will be at the Linn City Cemetery, Linn,Kansas.
Visitation will be held from 5-7PM Friday at the church.
Memorials can be made to the Don Singular Memorial Fund to be designated later by the family
and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
