Donald Collette

DONALD LEE COLLETTE, 69 died April 6, 2014.  He was born on August 31, 1944 in Abilene, TX.  The son of  Lawrence and Mary (Tannehill) Collette.   Don was raised in Clyde and graduated from Clifton High School in 1962.  He married Margurite Moody on March 3, 1965.  They made their home in Clay Center.  Don worked for Farm and Ranch Supply, Kidwell's, Hutchison Manufacturing and spent 35 years with Service Master working through Clay Center Presbyterian Manor. He was active in youth sports coaching softball and wrestling.  Marguerite preceded him in death on February 17, 2012.  He is also preceded in death by his father.  Survivors: Daughter: Lisa and husband Ron Harris, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Tonya Jones, Clay Center, KS Son: Troy Collette, Clay Center, KS  Mother: Mary Collette, Clifton, KS Sister: Joan and husband Arlin Balthazor, Salina, KS9 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church in Clay Center, KS Officiating the service will be Rev.
