Donald Wehmhoff

DONALD WEHMHOFF, 92 died November 11, 2013 at his residence in Winston Salem, NC. He was born June 19, 1921 in Clay County, KS the son of Louis and Katherine (Dagan) Wehmhoff. Don was raised and attended school in Clay County. He married Lucille Stewart on October 31, 1942. Don served in the US Army during WWII in Europe. He returned to Clay Center area where he farmed and raised livestock for 26 years. In 1972, Don and Lucille became Real Estate Managers working in Colorado, Utah and Arizona. They returned to Clay Center in 1984 and he worked as a crop insurance adjuster. Lucille preceded him in death on February 2, 1996. He later married Marie (Stroade) Blake on August 3, 1997. She preceded him in death on April 18, 2005. Don was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and served on the CO-OP Board of Directors.
