Donn Bugher

DONN CLIFTON BUGHER died October 15, 2008 at 1324 Grant Ave., Clay Center, KS at the age of 64. DONN CLIFTON BUGHER was born on September 16, 1944 in Clay Center Kansas, the son of Clifton Bugher and Pearl Tiemeyer. Donn was raised in Clay Center. He worked as a welder at Hutchinson/Mayrath, Inc. He was a member of the American Legion, First Presbyterian Church, Bluevalley Riders of Manhattan. He served in the Army from 1967-1969 and then in the National Guard. He started a Horseshoe Tournament during the Piotique Celebration in Clay Center. He is preceded by his parents. Survivors include: Daughter: Christine and husband Michael Swaim, Clay Center, KS Son: Rodney Bugher, Clay Center, KS Sister: Sheree McManaman, Clay Center, KS Grandchildren: 2 Grandchildren Companion: Marjorie Brown, Clay Center, KS Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 1:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Clay Center, Kansas . Officiating the service will be Rev James Byers. Burial with miltary honors will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17 from 3-8pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to American Brain Tumor Association or Meadowlark Hospice c/o Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home
