DONNA JEAN SCHURLE died July 21, 2008 at 1958 Navajo Road, Clay Center, KS at the age of 79. DONNA was born on November 9, 1928 in Rural Green, KS the daughter of Milo Riek and Ruth Easterberg. She has lived in the Clay Center area all of her life. Donna attended country schools before graduating CCCHS . She taught school for two years before marrying Lawrence Schurle on June 12, 1948. They farmed in the Clay Center area. Survivors include: Husband: Lawrence Schurle, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Nancy Kay Salomon, Abilene, KS Daughter: Peggy and husband Gary Houser, Abilene, KS Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 3:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, Kansas. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 9 until noon Wednesday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to Meadowlark Hospice c/o the funeral home
