DORIS M. CARNAHAN died February 28, 2007 at Sunset Nursing Home, Concordia, KS at the age of 77. DORIS M. CARNAHAN was born on June 23, 1929 in Miltonvale, Kansas the daughter of Dick Sheely and Edith Canfield. Doris married Dales Carnahan on November 20, 1949 in Clay Center, he preceded her in death on June 6, 1999. She operated Tiny Tot Daycare out of her home for 22 years. They moved to Clyde in 1982 and owned and operated Deena's Cafe with her husband. She retired in 1999 and then she moved to Concordia. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Glen. Survivors include: Daughter: Debra Brown, Concordia, KS Daughter: Patricia Osbourn, Gardner, KS Sister: Norma Newman, Boonville, MO Sister: Nancy Asche, Junction City, KS Sister: Katherine Hoard, Wilson, KS Brother: Everett and wife, Nina Sheely, Concordia, KS Grandchildren: 5 grand and 8 great grand Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in . Officiating the service will be Rev. Susan Sawyer. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 p.m. Friday, March 2 at the funeral home. Family will greet friends from 5-8 p.m. Memorials can be made to Concordia Dialysis Unit or Sunset Home c/o the funeral home
