Doris Cheney

DORIS JEAN CHENEY, 79 died March 3, 2014 at Meadowlark Hills in Manhattan, KS. She was born on March 18, 1934 in Alma, KS. The daughter of Walter and Blanche (Lowe) Kensing. Doris was raised in Louisville and graduated from Wamego high School in 1952. She married Eldon D. Cheney in 1952 and they later divorced. Doris moved to Clay Center in 1961. Doris worked for the City of Clay Center Public Utilities for many years. She also worked as a bookkeeper for Mattingly Motors, Primrose Motors and Hanson Motors.
