Doris Lund, 75 died December 20, 2018 at Leonardville Nursinghome in Leonardville, KS. She was born on September 20, 1943 in Clay Center, KS the daughter of Ralph and Amelia (Struber) Thompson. She was raised in the Fact Community and graduated from CCCHS in 1961. She was a farm wife, worked as a clerk for Jack and Jill when they lived in Nebraska, and clerked at Duckwall’s, Ray’s IGA and Dollar General in Clay Center. She was a member of the Fact United Methodist Church and the Fact Ladies Aide. She is preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Alfred Hiesterman; brothers Larry and Duaine Thompson and sister, Darlene (Hall) Sieverin.
