Dorothy Brown

Dorothy Lee Brown, 100 died October 26, 2026 in Clay Center, KS. She was born on May 16, 1926 in Kirwin, KS, the daughter of Edmond and Nora (Mailen) Talbot. Dorothy was a graduate of the Class of 1945 from Clay Center High School. Following graduation, she attended beauty school in Salina. Dorothy married Wayne Brown on June 1, 1948. She owned and operated Dorothy’s beauty shop in Clay Center for many years. Wayne preceded her in death on August 31, 1993. Dorothy was a member of the Clay Center United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Carlene Chase, Bernadette Hahn and Mae Bigler; and two brothers, Jack and Sonny Talbot.
