Dorothy Lindsay 93, died July 27, 2018. She was born on February 19, 1925, the daughter of Thomas and Louise (Becker) Norman. She was raised in the Oskaloosa community and graduated from Oskaloosa High School. Dorothy married Ray Lindsay on January 27, 1944. She worked for USD #379 in the food service department for 12 years. Ray preceded her in death on May 28, 2017. Dorothy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Ladies Circle at church, enjoyed singing with the Silvertones and quilting. Ray and Dorothy Lindsay were avid square dancers, helping many learn square dancing. They danced in Kansas towns and went to the state square dance conventions many years. They enjoyed square dancing for 25 years, meeting and becoming friends with many wonderful people.
