Dorothy Ann Mitchell

DOROTHY ANN MITCHELL, 83 died April 28, 2007 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, KS. She was born October 24, 1923 in Clay Center,Kansas the daughter of Charles A. and Ann A (Swenson) Thomas. She was raised in the Garfield Center Community north of Clay Center. She married Chester Hamilton on December 2, 1945. He preceded her in death on January 25, 1964. She married Robert Mitchell on February 5, 1968. She made her home in Industry and Longford Communities before moving to Clay Center in 1970. She worked for Key Egg Farm and Hutchinson/Mayrath Corp.. She operated a daycare center from her home for over 30 years. Robert preceded her in death on November 2, 2001. She was a member of the Clay Center United Methodist Church. She is also preceded by a son in law, Greg Grater and a brother, Calvin Thomas. Daughter: Leanna Grater, Green, KS Son: Robert and wife Jan Hamilton, Olathe, KS Grandchildren: 6 Grandsons and 5 Greatgrandchildren Funeral Services: Wednesday,May 2, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church in Clay Center, Kansas.
