Douglas Avery

Douglas Ray Avery was born on March 17, 1957 to Wayne and Bernice (Liby) Avery in Clay Center, KS. He died on January 27, 2022 at          KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.

After graduating from CCCHS in 1975, Doug was a very hard worker.

He worked for Alsop Sand Company in Oklahoma, Midwest Roofing in Manhattan, KS and lastly he worked as a welder for Mellies Products in      Morganville, KS.

Doug enjoyed spending time at the lake with family and friends, hunting, fishing and photography.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Edward and two infant sisters, Pamela and Rose.

Son: Justin and wife Amy Avery of Sobieski, WI

Daughter: Shena and husband Ricky Kittredge of Morganville, KS

Son: Eddy and wife Kristen Avery of Clay Center, KS

10 Grandchildren: Kaylee, Khloe, Liam and Adeline Avery of Sobieski, WI. Jonathan, Ryan, Zachery and Garret Kittredge of Morganville, KS. Joslyn and Ensley Avery of Clay Center, KS.

Brother: Donald and wife Brenda of Belvue, KS

Sister: Rita and husband Sam Tiemeyer of Morganville, KS

Sister in Law: Robin Avery of Concordia, KS

Numerous other family members and many friends.

A Celebration of Life BBQ will be held later on in the spring.
