Douglas Gerriets

DOUGLAS MATTHEW GERRIETS died November 8, 2010 at Stormont-Vail Regional Medical Center, Topeka, KS at the age of 55. He was born on January 8, 1955 in Clay Center Kansas, the son of John and Marjorie (Wangeman) Gerriets. Doug was raised in Clay Center. He lived in Concordia, Wichita, and Emporia and at the GoldenLiving Center in Eskridge for the past several years. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John. Survivors include: Sister: Mary and her husband, Larry Wilkinson, Wichita, KS Brother: Mark and his wife, Mary Ann Gerriets, Climax Springs, MO Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on will be held from noon until 1:30 PM Friday, November 12th at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church in care of the funeral home.
