Duane Drown

Duane Drown age 85, died January 14, 2021 in Lindsborg, KS.  He was born to Ray and Neoma (Nemnich) Drown on June 27, 1935 in Lamar, KS. Duane was raised and attended school in the Lamar community.  He attended Basic Training in Ft. Leonardwood before returning to Lamar.  Duane married Ruth Bulk on July 8, 1956.  He farmed in the Lamar community and worked at a local manufacturing facility.  Duane and his family also ran a custom harvesting crew with his family.  He enjoyed playing cranes at the state fair playing dominos and pinball.  Duane also enjoyed Cozy Inn burgers, snow and watching his children and grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sons; Gail and Dale, brother; Lawrence and sister; Loraine.

Daughter: Susan and husband Jerry Leidig of Salina, KS

Daughter: Nancy and husband Jerry Gisi of Miltonvale, KS

Daughter: Norma and husband Charles Gilbert of Burlington, KY

12 Grandchildren, 14 Great-grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild

Funeral Services: Friday, January 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Bennington Bible Church in Bennington, KS. Services will live stream at the time of service on our Facebook page or by clicking the link below.
