Harvey Duane Long, 78 years died December 3, 2018 in Clay Center, KS. He was born on July 20, 1940 in Clay Center, Kansas. The son of James Hartzel and Eva Leota (Kubick) Long. Duane served in the US Army and the Army National Guard. He worked as a meat cutter for Boogarts in Clay Center before taking a job as a meat cutter for Hinky Dinky Grocery in Lincoln, NE. Following his retirement, Duane moved back to the Longford community. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Alfred.
