EARL F. BRUMBAUGH died July 11, 2012 at Minneapolis Good Samaritan Society, Minneapolis, KS at the age of 89. EARL F. BRUMBAUGH was born on March 16, 1923 in Lincoln County KS, the son of Harry Brumbaugh and Julia King. He graduated from Ada High School. He married Rosa Lee Largent on June 16, 1948 and he preceded her on January 18, 2005. He was a farmer and rancher and worked as a road grader operator for Ottawa County. He was a WWII Army Veteran, serving in the Philippine's. He was a member of the American Legion and Longford Saddle Club. He is also preceded by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include: Daughter: Rosemary and husband Rod Yonnally, Miltonvale, KS Daughter: Jo and husband Steve LaBarge, Miltonvale, KS Son: Richard Brumbaugh, Lindsborg, KS Brother: Lewis Brumbaugh, Silver Lake, KS Brother: Keith Brumbaugh, Ada, KS Sister: Patricia Sanford, CA Sister: Lila McClaflin, Tecumsch, KS Sister: Eileen Powell, VA Sister: Doris Zaumeyer, CA Sister: Ruth Denno, Topeka, KS Sister: Beulah Lee, TX Grandchildren: 7 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church in Oak Hill, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Harold Gillispie. Burial will be at the Mt. Liberty Cemetery, Ottawa County, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Sunday July 15 from 2-5pm at the Phelps Funeral Home in Miltonvale, KS Memorials can be made to Miltonvale Manor c/o funeral home.
