Earl Dean Black

EARL "DEAN" BLACK, 78 died April 16, 2007 at his residence in Clifton, KS. He was born July 7, 1928 in rural Clifton,KS the son of Merle and Esther (Peterson) Black. He attended the country schools. Prior to joining the Army during the Korean War he farmed in the Clifton area. He returned to Clifton and was a Dairy Farmer for 25 years, worked for the city of Clifton for 15 years and operated the Big T Cafe in Clifton for 19 years with his wife. He was a member of the Clifton American Legion. He married Peggy Morgison on March 15, 1957 and she survives of the home. Wife: Peggy Black, Clifton, KS Son: Lonnie and wife Susan Black, Minneapolis, KS Son: Jeff and wife Karma Black, Abilene, KS Daughter: Debbie Flower, Topeka, KS Daughter: Teresa and husband Bill Starr, Wichita, KS Brother: Eldon Black, Sioux City, IA Brother: Harlan Black, Ellsworth, KS Sister: Dixie Crawford, Clifton, KS Grandchildren: 10 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services: Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 2:30 PM at the Faith United Church Presbyterian in Clifton, Kansas. Minister: Pastor Doris Compton Burial: Pleasant View Cemetery, Vining, Kansas. Visitation: Tuesday, April 17 from 5-8pm at Faith United Church Presbyterian in Clifton, KS Memorials: Faith United Church or the Heartland Hospice
