Earl Harold Severson, 90 years died November 8, 2018 at in Manhattan, KS. He was born on May 1, 1928 in Eau Claire, WI, the son of Emil Severson and Nellie Richardson. Earl was raised in New Auburn and Chippewa Falls, WI. He married Betty Wadsworth on December 29, 1951. He farmed before enlisting in the US Army. Earl served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam retiring from the Army after 27 years in 1973. He was a manager for Beneficial Finance in Concordia. Earl and Betty spent 9 years in Colorado before moving to Oak Hill in 2000. He was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, V.F.W. American Legion and Knights of Columbus. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Judith Lynn, a brother, 3 sisters, 3 half-brothers, 5 half-sisters.
