Earldeen Olsen

EARLDEEN OLSEN died February 27, 2013 at Park Villa Nursing Home, Clyde, KS at the age of 83. Earldeen was born on April 1, 1929 in Jamestown, KS the son of Ole and Ella (Funk) Olsen. Earldeen was raised in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He returned to Jamestown in 1954 and married Bertha Graham. They later moved to Clifton where Earldeen worked for Carlson Trucking and Ideal Trucking. Bertha preceded him in death in 1976. He them married Bonnie Shaw on April 23, 1977. Earldeen was a member of Faith United Church Presbyterian and The American Legion both of Clifton and the V.F.W and Moose Lodge, both of Concordia. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Nadine and Frances. Survivors include: Wife: Bonnie Olsen, Clifton, KS Step-Daughter: Sherry and husband Merlin Stigge, Las Cruces, NM Step-Daughter: Diane and husband Tom Woodruff, Leander, TX Step-Daughter: Alexes and husband Frank Ohl, Canton , TX 4 Step-Grandchildren and 7 Step Great Grandchildren Memorial Services will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Faith United Church Presbyterian, Clifton, Kansas. Inurnment will be at the Clifton IOOF Cemetery, Clifton, Kansas. Memorials may be made to the Clifton Ambulance Service and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
