Earlene M. Sterling, 98 died February 11, 2020 in Manhattan, KS. She was born on February 15, 1921 in Washington County, KS the daughter of Earl and Grace (Peterson) Beeson. Earlene was raised near the Clifton community. She married Harold G. Sterling on February 15, 1939. They made their home on a farm in Clay and Riley Counties. Along with being a farm wife, Earlene worked at the Key egg farm, Summers’ Clothing and J.C. Penney’s. Harold preceded her in death on July 25, 1998. Earlene was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters.

Daughter: Connie Stamets and husband Brice Tarzwell of Dallas, TX
Son: Roger and wife Deborah Sterling of Clay Center, KS
Grandchildren: Rod Sterling, Wade Sterling, Elizabeth Zimmerman, Benjamin Stamets, Greg Sterling, Joey Sterling, Quinlan Robertson & Sydney Tarzwell
Great-Grandchildren: Jessica & Zach Zimmerman; Cale & Carson Sterling; Miranda Brinkman; Mackenzie, Afton, Asher & Ezra Sterling; Hayden & Kinley Sterling; Catherine & Eleanor Stamets; Welby Robertson; Isler Lutz Tarzwell


Funeral Services: Monday, February 17, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center, KS
