William Edward "Ed" Broden, 90 died January 25, 2018 in Clay Center, KS. He was born on December 5, 1927 in Morganville, KS, the son of William and Ella (Klintberg) Broden. Ed was raised in the Morganville community. He married Florine Ingrum on February 13, 1949. Ed farmed and ran the township road grader before they moved to Glen Elder. He worked as a salesman for the Cock Shutt Implement Co. In 1961, the family moved to Miltonvale where he farmed and sold farm implements. In 1972, they made their home in Clay Center. Florine preceded him in death on November 2, 2017. Ed was a member of the First Baptist Church where he served as trustee and deacon. He was also preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, three sisters and two brothers.
