EDITH G. LUNDQUIST died March 28, 2013 at Community Care Inc., Clifton, KS at the age of 90. EDITH G. LUNDQUIST was born on February 20, 1923 in Clifton Kansas, the daughter of William Jurey and Ruby Wells. Edith attended the Graham District 50 Country School and graduated from Agenda High School. She worked as a housekeeper in Manhattan and for Hallmark Cards in Topeka before farming with her husband in the Brantford Township. She married Roland Lundquist on February 23, 1946 and he preceded her on October 17, 1995. She was a member of the Brantford Covenant Church and a member of the Covenant Women's Ministry. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary and Daughters of the American Revolution. She is also preceded by a brother, Kenneth, two sisters, Opal Aden and Ruth Carlson and a granddaughter Chelsea Lundquist. Survivors include: Son: Harvey and wife Linda Lundquist, Kenai, AK Son: Franklin and wife Jan Lundquist, Lincoln, NE Son: Michael and wife Becky Lundquist, Clyde, KS Grandchildren: 8 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 1:30 PM at the Brantford Evangelical Covenant Church rural Clyde, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Russell Sizemore. Burial will be at the Brantford Evangelical Covenant Cemetery, rural Clyde, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 1 from 5-7pm at the Turner Chapel in Clifton, KS Memorials can be made to Brantford Covenant Church c/o Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home, 918 7th St. Clay Center KS 67432
