EDNA MCCLENAHAN died December 24, 2008 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS at the age of 103. EDNA MCCLENAHAN was born on May 3, 1905 in Clay County, Kansas the daughter of George Clark and Minnie Shivers.
Edna was the oldest citizen in Clay County, KS. She moved with her family to rural Longford and attended Beach Glen Country School. While attending Longford Rural High School, she took normal training and after graduation taught school at Beach Glen for two years. She married Robert McClenahan on June 13, 1926. He preceded her in death on January 30, 1974. She is also preceded by a daughter, Bonnie Hannan and 2 grandchildren. She was an active member of the Clay Center United Methodist Church for 66 years.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Larry Myers.
Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on 1:00 PM until service time at the church.
