EDNA AMELIA NICHOLS died January 17, 2013 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, KS at the age of 91. Edna was born on October 27, 1921 in Longford, Kansas the daughter of Jacob H. and Laura K. (Kahle)Bach. Edna was raised in the Longford, Kansas area and graduated from Longford High School in 1939. She married Lloyd A. Nicholds on May 31, 1939 and he survives of the home in Longford. She and her husband farmed and ranched in the Longford community all their lives. She was a member of the Longford United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son Leo, 1 grandson, 3 brothers an 1 sister. Survivors include: Husband: Lloyd Nichols, Longford, KS Son: Lonny and wife Carol Nichols, Longford, KS Son: Loran and wife Sharon Nichols, Longford, KS Daughter In Law: Donna Nichols, Longford, KS Grandchildren: 9 grand, 18 great-grand and 3 great-great-grand Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church in Longford, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Larry Brock. Burial will be at the Rose Meron Cemetery, Clay County, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 21st from 3:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home Memorials can be made to Longford United Methodist Church c/o the funeral home
