Edward Charles Gunter

Edward Charles Gunter died April 18, 2008 at VA Transitional Living Center, Wichita, KS at the age of 63. Edward was born on September 29, 1944 in Concordia, Kansas the son of Charles and Agnes (Hogeland) Gunter Edward graduated from Morganville High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He studied music in Wichita. Edward later moved back to Morganville and farmed. He was a welder for several Clay Center businesses. Edward was a bus driver for USD 379. Survivors include: Daughter: Dawn Gunter, Clay Center, KS Sister: Elizabeth Jones, Wichita, KS Sister: Mary Alice Brent, Hays, KS Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Gary Oettinger. Burial will be at the Morganville Cemetery, Morganville, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to V.A. Transitional Living Center or The Terry C. Johnson Center for Basic Cancer Reasearch in care of the funeral home.
