EDWARD NYE, JR. died February 26, 2011 at Mercy Health Center College Ave, Manhattan, KS at the age of 54. EDWARD NYE, JR. was born on July 4, 1956 in Clay Center Kansas, the son of Edward Nye, Sr. and Geraldine Hunt. He grew up in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS. He worked as Parts Manger for Hanson Ford and restored classic cars. He is preceded by his parents. Survivors include: Son: Bryce and fiancee Ruth Fox Nye, Hutchinson, KS Son: Daniel and wife Amanda Nye, Mcpherson, KS Son: Luke Nye, Hays, KS Daughter: Heather and husband Josh Campbell, Clay Center, KS Sister: Stephanie and husband Lawrence Avery, Wakefield, KS Grandchildren: 5 Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Larry Myers. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3 from 3-8pm at the funeral home.
