Elaine Hitsman

M. ELAINE HITSMAN, 71 died June 23, 2014 at Clay County Medical Center in Clay Center, KS. She was born on February 24, 1943 in Randolph, KS. The daughter of David and Emma May (Rogers) Stitt. Elaine attended grade school in Randolph and graduated from Miltonvale High School. She worked in State Offices in Topeka, at the Clay Center S.R.S office, Clay County Treasurer's office and the Clay County Weed Department. In 1986 she became an office assistant at Kansas State University, retiring in 2004. Elaine was a member of the Eagles Lodge. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister and 5 brothers. Survivors: Step-Daughter: Tina Strano, Shawnee, KS Brother: Roger Stitt, Clay Center, KS one grandson, Jeremy Meek Graveside Services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, KS Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS Memorials: Lighthouse for Christ c/o the funeral home
