Elaine Lopez

ELAINE LOPEZ died March 9, 2008 at Golden Livingcenter, Wakefield, KS at the age of 68. She was born on August 24, 1939 in Ohio, the daughter of Herman Betz and Meta Brudi. Elaine was raised in Ft. Wayne, IN where she attended school and graduated from high school. She married Darwin Marckel in 1960, they later divorced. She moved to Tucson, AZ in 1972 where she managed U-Totem for 8 years. She also worked at the commissary and West Cap at Davis-Monthan AFB. She moved to Manhattan, KS in 2006. Survivors include: Daughter: Cindy and husban Carl J. Abbot, Wakefield, KS Sister: Linda Wilson, Sarasota, FL Sister: Karen , MI Grandson: Alec Trembath, Wakefield, KS Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Madura Congregational Church in Wakefield, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Todd Britt. No public visitation will be held Memorials can be made to Elaine Lopez memorial fund to be designated later c/o Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home
