Elsie Lindsey

ELSIE LINDSEY died January 18, 2012 at Lincoln Community Care Home, Lincoln, MO. at the age of 94. Elsie was born on December 6, 1917 in Marshall County KS, the daughter of Allvar and Karin (Larson) Bergsten. Elsie was raised in Clay County, attending school at Idana and graduating from CCCHS. She moved to Kansas City in 1939. She owned and operated Elsie's Beauty Shop for 31 years. Elsie married George Lindsey in 1954. He preceded her in death in 1976. She lived in Arkansas and Missouri with her daughter since 1993. Elsie is also preceded by a brother, a sister, 4 Grandchildren and 3 Great-grandchildren. Survivors include: Daughter: DelRae Mulich, Clinton , MO 3 Grandchildren, 7 Step-grandchildren, 6 Great-grandchildren & 9 Step-great-grandchildren Step-Daughter: Margie Steen, Alexandria, MN Step-Son: Buster Lindsey, Alexandria, MN Step-Son: Tom Lindsey, Riverton, WY Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Larry Myers . Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. There will be no visitation. Memorials can be made to American Leukemia Foundation or the organization of the donor's choice c/o the funeral home.
