Emma Ohlde

EMMA OHLDE died December 17, 2008 at Golden Livingcenter, Wakefield, KS at the age of 100. She was born on November 16, 1908 in Wakefield, Kansas the daughter of Henry and Anna (Bergmeier) Rahe. Emma was born in Wakefield, KS and moved to the Linn, KS community with her family in 1910. She attended St. John's Lutheran School. She married Walter Ohlde on August 30, 1936. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, LWML and Ladies Aide. She is preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Natalie, 4 sisters and 6 brothers. Survivors include: Daughter: Anne Wendelken, Wakefield, KS Grandchildren: 8 Grandchildren, 17 Great-grandchildren & 7 Great-great-grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the St. Johns Lutheran Church in Palmer, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Gene Holtorf. Burial will be at the St. John Cemetery, Palmer, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-5 PM at the funeral home Memorials can be made to St. John's Lutheran church c/o the funeral home
