Eric Grant

ERIC WAYNE GRANT died May 6, 2011 at his residence in Clay Center, KS at the age of 63. He was born on November 23, 1947 in Hill City, Kansas the son of Wayne Grant and Della Forgue. Eric was raised in Concordia and graduated from Concordia High School in 1965. He attended Cloud County Community College and Kansas Technical Institute. Eric was the manager at Gibson's Discount Store in Clay Center from 1974 until he retired in 2007. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Library Board both of Clay Center. Eric is preceded in death by his father. Survivors include: Daughter: Kelly and husband Chad Buckley, Concordia, KS Son: Chad Grant, St. Joseph, MO Mother: Della Hefner, Concordia, KS Brother: Jerry Grant, Tecumseh, KS Brother: Terry Grant, Concordia, KS Grandchildren: 2 Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 1:30 PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Kent Otott. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 12 Noon until service time Memorials can be made to Arbor Day Foundation c/o the funeral home
