Erma Beaver

Erma was born June 14, 1938 in Blue Rapids, the daughter of William and Delia (King) Worthington. She grew up in Blue Rapids and graduated from Irving High School in 1956. She attended Crum’s Beauty College in Manhattan and worked as a beautician in Junction City. Erma married Bobby Mack Beaver on March 13, 1959 and he preceded her in death on November 8, 1973. Erma earned her LPN in 1967 from Manhattan VoTech and her RN in 1992 from Barton County Community College. She was the director of nursing at Leonardville Nursing Home until her retirement. Erma was a member of the Clay Center Christian Church. She is also preceded in death by her son, William Mack Beaver and sister, Dorothy Akin. Survivors: Son: Robert and his wife, Barb Beaver, Clay Center, Kansas Son: Brian and his wife, Debra Beaver, Hoisington, Kansas 10 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren Sister: Helen Tyree, Clay Center, Kansas Daughter In-Law: Kay and husband, Larry Osthoff, Clay Center, Kansas Funeral Services: will be held at 10:30AM on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Clay Center Christian Church in Clay Center, Kansas Minister: Pastor Jon Grogg Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas Visitation: will be held from 3-8PM on Wednesday at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home where the family will greet friends from 5:30-7:30PM.
