Erma was raised in Clifton and graduated from Clifton High School in 1949. She made her home and worked in Wichita for 40 years until her retirement, when she returned to Clifton. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, several card clubs, and the Treasurer for the Clifton Historical Society. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ardene, and sisters-in-law Gloria and Elsie Bouley. Erma enjoyed genealogy, reading, and spending time with her extensive network of family and friends. With an open, kind, and generous heart, she forged strong connections with the many generations of her family. She will remain alive in the memories of those who loved her independent spirit, quick smile, and fun-loving laugh.
