ERVIN FOWLES died August 7, 2007 at his residence in Clay Center, KS at the age of 85. Ervin Fowles was born on January 28, 1922 in Clay County, Kansas the son of Percy Fowles and Eleanor Martin.
Ervin served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. On August 8, 1949, he married Dorothy Jones. Ervin worked for Douglas Aircraft and General Motors in Pasadena, California. He then worked as a printer for the next 26 years, retiring in 1986. Ervin enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the American Legion and the Clay Center Leisure Club. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy, Wallace, and Cecil and a sister, Ruth McCurklin.

Brother: Orrin and his wife, Wanda Fowles, Clay Center, KS
Brother: Wilbur and his wife, Pat Fowles, Clay Center, KS
Sister: Charlotte Gilbert, Clay Center, KS
Sister: Mildred Carlson, Clay Center, KS
Grandchildren: Seven Grandchildren and Three Great grandchildren
Graveside memorial services will be held on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 10:00 am at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Gerald Martin.
There will be no respect calls.
