Euna Mae Turner

EUNA MAE TURNER,90, of Clifton died Saturday, April 7, 2007 at theMercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan. She was born April 20, 1916 to Edward and Esther (Buck) Davis in Donaldson,Arkansas. She attended Donaldson Schools. She attended Quichita Baptist College in Arkadelphia. She married Gordon Simpson at Donaldson, Arkansas in 1939. They moved back to Kansas where Gordon had an interest in Cedar Court Motel and Dixie Oil Company. She married LaVerne Turner in 1951 and they lived in Clifton. LaVerne preceded her in death in 1983. She was a member of Faith United Presbyterian Church, Clifton Historical Society, and O.E.S. of Clay Center. She was preceded in death her sister, Marie Grissom, and a brother, Frank Davis. Survivors include: Son: Robert and his wife, Tish Simpson, Manhattan, KS Grandchildren: Three Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren Funeral Services: Wednesday,April 11, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Faith United Church Presbyterian in Clifton, Kansas. Minister: Rev. Doris Compton Burial: Clifton IOOF Cemetery, Clifton, KS. Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at the Fath United Church in Clifton. Memorials: may be made to Faith United Church or the Clifton Historical Society, both in care of the funeral home.
