Fay May

FAY L. MAY died August 25, 2013 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, KS at the age of 82. She was born on June 12, 1931 the daughter of John Sr and Josephine (Carlson) White. Fay was raised in several communities before graduating from CCCHS. She married Jack Kurz on April 3, 1948. They lived in several places in the United States and Midway Island due to his service in the US Navy. Jack preceded her in death on July 7, 1980. Fay then married Harold May on August 17, 1981. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and Hospice, served on various church committees and drove for Meals on Wheels. Fay is also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Joann Beeson and Clara Heilman. Survivors include: Husband: Harold May, Clay Center, KS Son: Steve and wife Debbie Kurz, Thurmont, MD Son: Mark and wife Cindy Kurz, Alburtis, PA Son: Martin and wife AnnaJo Kurz, Greencastle, PA Son: David and wife Deb May, Hagerman, ID Son: Joseph May, Wichita, KS Brother: John, Jr and wife MaryJo May, Andover, KS 6 Grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 3 Step-Grandchildren, 2 Step-Great-Grandchildren Graveside Services will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Miltonvale Cemetery in Miltonvale, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Matthew Coleman. Burial will be at the Miltonvale Cemetery, Miltonvale, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church c/o the funeral home
