Faye Ogborn

FAYE OGBORN, 100 died January 2, 2015 at Medicalodge in Clay Center, KS. She was born on December 19, 1914 in Clay County, KS, the daughter of Frank and Della Alma (Heath) Carlson. Faye married George Ogborn on December 25, 1937. She owned and operated Dairy Sweet and traveled with her husband selling auto parts. Later, she owned the Davis Paint Store from 1967-1970 and worked at Wards Wallpaper and Carpet. Faye was a member of Mizpah United Methodist Church, B.P.O.E. and Friendship Meals. She was preceded in death by husband, George Ogborn on May 30, 1990, her parents and 2 brothers Elmo and Calvin Carlson. Survivors: Sister: Fern Livengood, Olathe, KS Niece: Alice and husband David Zvacek, Kansas City, MO Niece: Barbara and husband Fran Stowell, Olathe, KS Nephew: Gary and wife Diane Carlson, Clay Center, KS Nephew: Dale Livengood, Silver Springs, MD Niece: Sharon and husband Gary Ihde, Overland Park, KS Nephew: Dallas Livengood, Olathe, KS Many Great-nieces and great-nephews Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Mizpah United Methodist Church in Clay County, KS Officiating the service will be Pastor Debra Tompsett-Welch Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 3-8 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home.
