Fern Livengood

FERN LIVENGOOD, 96 died January 21, 2015 at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, KS. She was born on June 15, 1918 in Clay County, KS, the daughter of Frank and Alma (Heath) Carlson. Fern was raised in Clay County. She married George Livengood on February 10, 1935. They farmed for several years in the Longford community before moving to Clay Center. Fern helped her husband operate a service station and later Livengood Motor Co. George preceded her in death on January 22, 1982. She is preceded in death by parents, brothers Elmo and Calvin Carlson, sister Faye Ogborn Survivors: Son: Dale Livengood, Finksburg, MD Son: Dallas Livengood, Olathe, KS Daughter: Sharon and husband Gary Ihde, Overland Park, KS 4 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-great-grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Clay Center United Methodist Church in Clay Center, KS Officiating the service will be Pastor Ryan Lynch Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 1:00 PM until service time at the church atClay Center United Methodist Church Memorials: Organization of the donor's choice c/o the funeral home
