Florence E. Turner

Florence E. Turner died February 10, 2009 at Cuero Nursing Home, Cuero, TX at the age of 92. Florence was born on October 28, 1916 in Clay Center, KS the daughter of Frank and Sylvia (Kennedy) Bruns. She was raised in Clay Center and graduated from Clay Center High School. She worked for Southwestern Bell Corporation in Kansas before moving to San Antonio in 1970. She retired after 33 years of service and moved to Goliad, TX to live near family. She is preceded in death by one brother Frank. Survivors include: Daughter: Carole Parks, Corinth, TX Sister: Mildred Dye, Kansas City, MO Grandchildren: 2 Grandchildren & 3 Great-grandchildren Private Memorial Services will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor James Byers. There will be no visitation.
