Franc Oberg

FRANC HARRIETT OBERG died April 29, 2011 at Park West Plaza, Wichita, KS at the age of 81. She was born on April 9, 1930 in Clay Center Kansas, the daughter of Chester W. and Betty (Finley) Oberg. Franc was raised in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS in 1948. She attended the University of Kansas, Kansas State University and graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Elementary Education and Music-Voice. Franc taught First Grade in Colorado before returning to Kansas. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Clay Center. Franc is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include: Sister: Florence Schwab, Manhattan, KS Sister: Jo Oberg, Clay Center, KS Sister: Pamela and husband John Sharp, Albuquerque, NM Many nieces and nephews Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. James Byers. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 9 AM until service time at the funeral home Memorials can be made to First Presbyterian Church c/o the funeral home
