Franklin Murrin

FRANKLIN MURRIN, 70 died February 6, 2014 at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan, KS. He was born on December 14, 1943 in Yuba City, CA. The son of Melvin and Alta (Dickinson) Murrin. Frank grew up in California. He moved to Clay Center in 1978. He worked as a self employed mechanic before retiring due to health reasons. He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Murrin, sister, Carolyn Smith, and two brothers, Jimmy and Gary Murrin. Survivors: Mother: Alta Grace Murrin, Clay Center, Kansas Son: Franklin Murrin, Jr., Clay Center, Kansas Sister: Kathy Lavine, Clay Center, Kansas Sister: Waunita Clark, Clay Center, Kansas Five grandchildren Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Clay Center Christian Church, Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Kenner Wheeler. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Homecare and Hospice Foundation and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
